Oryan Semprie Semprie من عند La Talanquera, San Carlos, Córdoba, كولومبيا
In many ways, this was a fun book to read, especially as I have fond memories of the author's cafe Septieme and I also lived on Vashon Island for a while in my mid-twenties. I am certainly interested in his subject--the creation of a working, small-scale farm. Ultimately, although there were sections that I enjoyed and appreciated, the book as a whole never gelled for me and all too often seemed patched together in a series of anecdotes and mini-lessons.
Great history book on how the indigenous people of america were wiped out! i learned that scalping was introduced by the savage Great Father and the only good indian was a dead one!
