This book gave me a new and deeper look at who God was and is.
** spoiler alert ** I was really impatient to read the book, and it hasn't been a (total) disappointment. There's a lot of blood and violence, and Sookie is learning to mature in a hard way. She slowly seems to gain self-confidence, and realizes that a lot of the things she does are just because of her yearning for love and for someone who makes her feel special in a positive way. However, her usual indecision: now Eric, but Bill... the blood bond? or not?... I find her a bit irritating. But I suppose that it Mrs Harris's way to keep us wondering till next year.
