My son has loved the first 2 books in this series. We got through book 2 and he was begging for more. I just got the next 3 books from the library this weekend. I think it might be a little too scary for my 4 year old, but my 6 year old has really enjoyed them.

Reading again. Except for the monks and the one with the talking suitcase, I have read and reread Terry Pratchett for the absolute joy of his genius puns, his hilarious and dead-aim take on life portrayed through the Discworld, second to earth as my favorite place in the multiverse. Especially close to my heart and my funny bone are Granny Weatherwax, Nanny Ogg, and Magrat Garlick, the three wyrd sisters of the Discworld. And okay, Carrot the 6 foot tall elf who is the long lost heir to Ank-Morpork comes a close second (or is it fourth?) It all sounds silly, as do many strange worlds, but listen -- Terry Pratchett has been described as a cross between Shakespeare and Monty Python, so that's alright then.
