If my memory is correct, most of the content of George's auto-biography was simply song lyrics. I would have liked more thoughts on his life. I read this hot on the heels of Paul's book, and it was somewhat disappointing in comparison. Definitely worth a visit, though.

The Da Vinci Code is a modern day version of the search for the Holy Grail. It is full of symbolism, suspense, and close calls. It will serve you well to know what you believe with regard to Christianity before reading this book, because it will cause you to question many of your beliefs. Of the numerous notable characteristics in this fine story, the one I feel compelled to mention is the extensive knowledge of art, religion, geography and history involved in creating this book. Brown must have spent many hours researching the details that establish the credibility of this story. It makes me realize that even in a work of fiction, if you don’t get the facts straight you run the risk of losing the story’s believability.
