Pady Li Li من عند Kalo Limani, اليونان
I don't care what the controversy is/was around this book. It was well written and gripping!
I loved the character of Stephen Ross when he was introduced as a boy in A Time for Dreams and then as a man in the MacDonnell Brides Trilogy. In this book he is down and out until he meets Deidre MacKay again. I loved the inclusion of the supernatural blood witches; it mixes two of my favorites--Scottish setting with vampires.
This book is important for everyone to read. There are some very interesting points that are discussed. I really appreciated how Stiglitz differentiated the World Bank from the IMF. It's a bit dated given the way the Bank has changed in recent years, but still worth reading. I give it only four stars because having read only academic writing from Stiglitz prior to reading this, I was disappointed that some of the concepts and critiques were not as comprehensive as I'd like.
