I used to dream of owning a horse as a kid. I enjoyed reading about the ”Cinderella Horse” and his journey from almost becoming dog food to winning the national championship at Madison Square Garden. Kindness and humane handling brings out the best in an animal. It got repetitive in spots, but how many different ways can you describe a horse jumping over fences? The author used the exact same phrases in multiple places which I found somewhat annoying. But the love and trust between horse and owner was beautifully portrayed.

Will let you know when I finish reading it. So far, so good.

This is a must have for writer's everywhere, at least I think so anyway. It's brilliant!!!
