I thoroughly enjoyed this read. The story/setting/characters fascinated me, until the very end. Then I questioned some of the way the book played out. The coincidence of seeing The Queen of Sheba in Boston - meeting up with Gedet. The illness from being with her. Shiva having to die even though I knew that relationship had to be healed in some manner. How Marion, for holding onto his virginity for so long, never really let go with how it actually felt to finally have that experience. Often when I read something so good, I worry that the ending will not hold up to the majority of the book. True here, but I most certainly don't feel I haven't gained from this read. Fascinated me. (And I now know how to perform a vasectomy.)
