Vitally important play. Beautiful and troubling.

This book was not at all what I was expecting, but I ended up finishing it in two days. I think its pretty compelling from the very beginning, as you are constantly trying to make sense of what exactly is going on. Definitely worth the read, I'm eager to read more by Kazuo Ishiguro, I hope the rest of his work is as good as this was.

Be aware, a lot of teenage sex that made me blush as I was reading it in the gym. Otherwise, sad, poignant. Lot of 'growing up an Asian American minority teenager' things to relate to.
