I really enjoyed the descriptions of the tribes in the lost valley. But as for the other characters, I wasn't really rooting for them. They could have stayed in the valley for all that I cared. I think the author should have spent more time describing the way of life of these people who had never had any contact with the outside world and the subsequent changes that came with their discovery.

I love A. Lee Martinez! This book is another great story in a long line of his work that I've come across. His characters, while more often than not definitly in the non-human category, are very identifiable to. Would gladly recommend to anyone, and plan to pick up more of this author's work in the future.
