I'm thoroughly confused as to what I just read. It is an engaging read - especially for a book written many years before my time - and I read it in a few hours but I am so confused. It had elements of horror and I can see how people would be creeped out by this book but to me it was just so bizarre I'm not even sure what just happened. Definitely going to need a second (maybe even third) read.
