The best book I've ever read about software development. It goes straight to the main problems I'm suffering at the moment and guides you to solve it.

Hurm. Interesting concept: Equipping the library with a military arm to combat the forces of censorship. But mostly this was still just a manga love story. Worth a look, but I doubt I'll be pursuing any more of them.

Everlost by Neil Shusterman Everlost was my first book by this author. I had heard great things about Unwind but Everlost was already on my shelf, so I started with this one. What I noticed first is that Everlost was far more innocent than I expected. It’s more of a children’s/middle grade book than a YA novel. It has monsters in it but no terrible violence. There is some kind of love story but no passionate romance. It’s more like a bunch of kids having an adventure. The characters were all interesting and lovable. Allie was really brave and I laughed out loud when I read that Nick is stuck with chocolate on his face for the rest of his everlife because he died with chocolate on his face. Mary was an interesting character because she sometimes seemed so evil but yet tried to do the right thing. It was sweet to discover the McGill’s sensitive side (shh, don’t tell anyone). The story was exciting and original. I liked how everything twisted and turned out at the end. I wouldn’t mind reading the sequel to Everlost but I’m even more interested in Neil Shusterman’s novels for older readers now.
