I really enjoyed this book. Not exactly what I was expecting but I look forward to its follow up that was just recently released.

I dearly love this book. We had an audio tape of an abridged version and my brother and I can still recite entire chapters by heart, complete with the reader's inflection. This book is witty and thoughtful and fun. It makes you feel smart as a kid to read it and chuckle as an adult. I remember I gave it to one of the richest, most popular girls in class when I was invited (along with every other girl in class) to her birthday party. I doubt it endeared me much, but what better gift is there than a truly good book?

i need to just sit down and get through it.
