I loved the world in which the plot took place, but the first two thirds was rather slow, and a lot of the description unnecessary. The book felt rather feminine, so perhaps women who read fantasy books would love this one more than I did. Among the books that have won the Hugo AND Nebula, this is among the weakest, but still a decent read.

Adriana (my wife) studied english with that book a couple of years ago, and she loved it. Recommended if you're serious about learning english.
