31 audiodiscs later.... This book captures very accurately the depth of human emotion and feelings, however, as a story, it was not one of my favorites. Also, I couldn't stand Anna Karenina and just wanted to slap her. For me, the saving grace of the book were the stories of other characters like Constantin Levin which were told in parallel to Anna's story. Overall, I think War and Peace is a much better book.
