I loved this introduction to the trilogy. I must read it again to read the scenes in Tom Bombadill's cottage. I did skip over a lot of the poetry but what a great story. Easier to follow if you get a map book.

I got a lot of ideas from this book when I first started teaching. It's a great book for new English/intermediate teachers because it helps start daily bell work and is not intimidating or overwhelming. It's full of great ideas.

Wow. Just wow. Took me about 2 days to read. Couldn't put it down.
