I think this book is a great tale of the importance of family, how difficult growing up can be, and accepting others for themselves.

This is my third Tropper read. His male protagonists tend to be very much alike, which as long as you don't read several of his books right in a row, is fine. In this novel, a crazy, dysfunctional family sits shiva for their patriarch.
