I read this book as the author is a friend-of-a-friend. I've never terribly enjoyed time-travel romance, but I liked the plot and intrigue mixed in with this one and quite enjoyed it. Being from Pittsburgh, and having worked at the National Aviary, I also enjoyed the local references - though I wonder if some of them, such as the place names, are confusing for those not familiar with city and metro area.
